-Minors
We do not tattoo minors under any circumstance, no exceptions.
-IDs & Consent Forms
The client’s ID must be physically present, NOT expired, and copied onto each and every consent form. Every tattoo performed requires a new consent form to be filled out completely, regardless of when the client visited last.
-Deposits
Time cannot be reserved without a deposit, no exceptions. Deposits are non-refundable, regardless of how much was put down. They may be transferred to a new date ONCE, given a 24 hour notice. Further rescheduling will require a new deposit.
-Cancellations & Reschedules
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required in order to forward the deposit to a new date. Reschedules must be set during the cancellation process, unless otherwise arranged with the artist, and cannot be changed without a new deposit.
-Cash Only
We no longer accept credit or debit cards, nor any form of digital currency. The only payment option that does not involve a cash exchange is to finance.
-Walk-Ins
We encourage all clients to schedule appointments so artists can properly prepare without feeling rushed. Walk-ins may be accepted at the artist’s discretion, however, assuming there are no temporary mandates regulating otherwise.
-Scars, Blemishes, and Abrasions
Scars may be tattooed over if they have been healed for a minimum of one year. Fresh scars, partially healed scars, open wounds, scabs, and bruises may not be tattooed over or even nearby, if there is a risk of wiping any product into the wound.
-Placement Restrictions
We do not have restrictions on placement, assuming there are no temporary mandates regulating otherwise. It is the artist’s discretion whether or not they tattoo certain areas. In cases of clients wanting tattooed in places that notoriously do not accept or hold ink, they should be informed of the risk of it not sticking and that there will be no free touch-ups.
-Shop Minimum
Our minimum price for a tattoo, as of 2023, is $100, no matter how small or simple it may be. No exceptions.
-Tapout Sessions
Tapouts are single sessions only. Breaks may be taken but the client may not leave if they have not yet paid their balance. Passing out is considered a “tapout” and they may not reschedule to finish without booking a new session with a new deposit; the only exception to this is if the occurrence is within the first 30 minutes of the tattoo. However, if all the work is centralized in one area of the body, 8 hours is the maximum amount of time the dermis can handle. Any time spent above that has resulted in very poor healing, in every case we’ve seen. All work to be done during the session must be confirmed with the artist ahead of time.
-Pass Outs
If the client passes out during the procedure, the tattoo may not continue. This is regulated by the health department. They may reschedule to finish the piece but they must pay any balance due at the time of the original appointment.
-Walk Outs
If a client chooses to leave, for any reason, after a session has begun they must set up a new appointment with a new deposit to have the work completed. Payment is not just for the tattoo, but for the time of both the artist and the studio.
-Aftercare
Aftercare instructions are given with each tattoo, both verbally and written, as regulated by the health department. We DO NOT recommend petroleum based products.
-Touch-Ups
If a touch-up is deemed necessary due to an error by the artist, no payment is due, as long as the client contacts us regarding the issue within the first week following the tattoo appointment.
